Megan's Big Night
My daughter's big night, graduation from University. I just don't have
a decent camera which will handle low light and even with the flash on,
the distance was too great to make any difference. This shot was a zoom
640 x 480 still photo taken with a digital video camera. It's as close
as I could get.
I hope she has a really great night. The award
ceremony was very enjoyable and I thought the speech by Justice Tim
Carmody was perhaps the high point - after Megan's awarding - of the
evening. He spoke well, from the heart and with feeling. If you ever
have the opportunity to attend a graduation ceremony, take advantage
and go along. It's a worthwhile experience, especially if you know
someone in the crowd of mortar boards.
